Turn Your Story Into Art

You know there is something meaningful you want to preserve.

A relationship. A memory. A piece of your family’s story. A feeling you want your children to grow up seeing.

You may not know exactly what the finished artwork should look like yet.

That is where we begin.

We Create the Vision Together

We begin with a personal consultation where we sit down and talk about your story.

I listen, ask questions, and help uncover what you want the artwork to express.

Together, we decide how to bring that story to life through the setting, clothing, objects, expressions, colors, and overall feeling of the piece.

With years of experience and knack for hearing what's left unsaid, I guide you through turning your story into art.

How It Works

1

We Discover Your Story

We talk about the people, memories, traditions, and experiences you want the artwork to hold.

2

We Create the Vision

Together, we decide how to tell your story visually.

We may discuss the setting, clothing, meaningful objects, expressions, colors, photographs, and the feeling you want the artwork to have.

3

I Bring It to Life

I photograph or compose the image and carefully transform it through digital painting and artistry.

Your Commission Can Begin With...

A Person or Relationship

A parent, child, spouse, grandparent, or family connection you want to preserve.

A Family or Jewish Story

A tradition, value, memory, or part of your identity that deserves to be seen.

A Photograph You Already Love

A meaningful photograph can become the starting point for a finished work of art.

An Idea or Feeling

You may simply begin with an emotion or story you have never known how to express visually.

From their story to their walls:

I met Gene and Lenore while they were tending their garden near my sister’s home in Monticello. At 97 and 90, and just weeks away from their 68th anniversary, their love and energy stayed with me.

For their commissioned portrait, we placed their wedding photo beside them, bringing the beginning of their story into the artwork. It was an honor to create this piece for them and see it hanging in their home in time for their anniversary.

About the Artist

Meet Chumie Paneth, a Brooklyn-based portrait artist.

I create commissioned artwork that blends photography and digital painting to tell stories of family, Jewish identity, memory, and connection.

Every piece begins with a conversation. I listen to what matters most to you, help uncover the heart of your story, and work with you to shape it into artwork that feels personal, meaningful, and truly yours.
